Ericsson sponsors telecom summit

Ericsson, a leading provider of telecom equipment and services, has sponsored a major regional telecommunications summit which concluded recently in Beirut.

The 11th annual Arabcom 2009, “Broadband and Beyond - Strategic Partnership for Growth in the Region” took place from May 28 to 29 at Habtoor Grand Hotel in Beirut.

As the rapid expansion of broadband has opened the door to new users and revenues from a whole range of new services, the event demonstrated Ericsson’s commitment to meeting the needs of customers as they demand faster, more advanced and cost efficient services.
