Dubai Investments Industries, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments, has announced the launch of Techsource, a data centre offering a comprehensive portfolio of services.

Designed as a world-class data center, Techsource, located in Dubai Investments Park, has gone through the stringent qualification process of Microsoft and has achieved the approval to host the entire range of hosted solutions from Microsoft.

Techsource is the only company in the GCC region to achieve the Microsoft Hosting Partner status for SharePoint, Exchange Server, MS CRM, Dynamics ERP AX and NAV.

The services to be offered include hosted applications, hosted infrastructure, hosted security, live and on-demand streaming  and co-location.

Techsource data center is equipped with state-of-the-art security solutions like dual firewall, VPN, encryption, patch management system and anti-virus and anti-malware systems.

System Center Data Protection manager, the Continuous Data Protection solution from Microsoft, is implemented to ensure continuous disk-to-disk-to-tape backup, and a disaster recovery (DR) site is set up with data replication between production data center and the DR site.

Data Center monitoring and capacity planning is done through Microsoft System Center Operations Manager to ensure sufficient capacity to scale up quickly on demand.
