R&M boosts ME management team

Reichle & De-Massari (R&M) the Swiss cabling specialist, has announced two key appointments as part of its efforts to boost the company's management team in Middle East and Africa region.

Jean Pierre Labry has been appointed the managing director and Andrew Sedman as technical director for the Middle East & Africa region to build on the company's successes in the region, said a company statement.

Labry will be responsible for driving R&M's aggressive expansion plans across existing and new markets and in the MEA region.

He will also be focusing on building relations with key enterprise businesses from the private and public sectors, existing customers and partners in the region.

Labry brings strong domain experience and local market knowledge to R&M, having worked in the region for over 12 years and closely with R&M for the past 8 years.

“I look forward to working closely with R&M MEA's dynamic team to experience further successes to the ones achieved over the last 10 years of operation here,' said Jean Pierre Labry, managing director, R&M Middle East and Africa.

“The impressive 63.4 per cent growth recorded in 2008, underlines the importance and potential that the MEA has for R&M. We will continue to further invest in the region and support our partners here to realize further successes.'

Sedman will be in charge of maintaining superior technical support standards for sales activities across the region. He brings to R&M more than 19 years experience in the telecommunications cabling sector.

Sedman has extensive background in project management in the field of structured cabling, in various major projects ranging from Heathrow airport, Hong Kong international airport, as well as other International projects.

R&M’s regional HQ is located in Dubai (Dubai Airport Free Zone) and has offices in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan.-TradeArabia News Service
