Dubai, March 31, 2009

Nortel has opened an Executive Briefing Center (EBC) in Dubai to showcase its networking technologies and provide first hand demonstrations on how its solutions can help Middle East customers.

The new EBC, Nortel’s first in the Middle East, will host and test a range of Enterprise solutions for Unified Communications and multimedia networking.

The new Dubai Executive Briefing Center, located in Nortel’s Dubai office complex, is the sixth to open in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Other Nortel EBCs are located in Maidenhead and Harlow (UK), Galway (Ireland), Frankfurt and Chateaufort near Paris.

'One of our major objectives with the new Dubai EBC is to engage industry players on a more personal and interactive level,' stated Ramin Attari, vice president and managing director, Nortel Middle East and Africa.

'By offering real-time, onsite demonstrations we can show how our solutions can contribute to increased efficiency levels and create cost savings for our customers.'

The Dubai EBC showcases an extensive range of Nortel products and solutions with a particular emphasis on the Enterprise sector.

Onsite demonstrations cover Unified Communications, IP Telephony, converged voice and data, mobility, energy efficiency and vertical solutions – especially for healthcare, hospitality, education, government and SMB customers.-TradeArabia News Service
