Zain Bahrain has launched 'SMSThem Group Service,' an innovative and fun way for customers to use their Zain network and maximise their communication options especially among a group of friends.

The exclusive new service is called SMSThem and it allows Zain users to communicate to friends through a group SMS feature that's easy to operate and which reaches groups of friends in one shot.

"You can set up groups of 5 members and communicate with each other on the go at the touch of a button!," said Zain Bahrain's Product Innovation expert Bashar Alami.

"Zain Bahrain's SMSThem is a simple-to-use menu-driven service that allows you to control the size of the group and adds value to your SMS options," he noted.

"Group SMS options in the past were complicated to set up and maintain but Zain's SMSThem can be set up, expanded and maintained at the touch of your keyboard, giving you great freedom to communicate the excitement of living with friends!," he explained.

Users can simply register for the service by sending an SMS and following some basic commands. "You register your username via SMS to 50005, send 'create (groupname)' to the same number and then send out invitations to friends to join the fun!"

"The exciting part of the SMSThem service is that the user controls the group profile unlike other services where you have to notify the service provider of changes," Alami said.
