Abu Dhabi firm wins IT contract

Emirates Computers has announced that it has won a prestigious project with Millennium Hotel, to install a world-class IT and audio visual system at the hotel's new property in Abu Dhabi.

Emirates Computers will deploy a suite of integrated solutions, which will combine products such as Cisco's Networking and IP Telephony, Clipsal's Guest Room Management System, Neos' Hotel Interactive TV, Top Hotel's Access Control system and Samsung LCDs for the hotel chain's new executive apartment tower.

'Tourism is Abu Dhabi is growing at a very fast rate and there is a huge demand for hotels equipped with world-class technologies to accommodate the growing needs of tourists and business users,' said Millennium Hotel regional IT manager Middle East and North Africa Yasser Yousri.

'Technology plays a key role in the customers' choice of hotels and we felt it was important for us to invest in the latest and best for our new executive apartment tower in Abu Dhabi.

'After evaluating a number of system integrators in the region, we chose Emirates Computers for this project because of their knowledge, expertise, professionalism, solid presence in the region and experience in implementing similar turnkey projects for the hospitality sector.'-TradeArabia News Service
