Riyadh, December 4, 2008
Google Enterprise and its leading Value Added Distributor (VAD) in the Middle-East and North Africa (MENA) region FVC have appointed Jeel Internet Solutions as a Google Enterprise partner in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
JEEL will offer a range of Google Message Security and Compliance and Enterprise Search solutions to corporate and SMB customers in the Kingdom, said a company spokesman.
JEEL is one of Saudi Arabia’s leading ISP/ASP and e-solutions provider and part of the National Technology Group (NTG). NTG is one of the largest multinational conglomerate groups in the Middle East with a global presence in 15 countries including India, Sri Lanka and the US and has its group head quarter in Riyadh.
Focused on the ICT and ITES (IT enabled solutions) business, NTG is currently ranked 39th in the Middle-East.
"We are very pleased with this partnership and see great success for Google Enterprise in the Kingdom. We will be investing in direct resources to promote Google's offerings to our existing enterprise customers in the Kingdom," said group general manager, NTG/Jeel, Rashid M Al-Ballaa.
Al-Ballaa is confident that the strong relationships JEEL and NTG enjoy with the enterprises in the Kingdom will make adoption of Google’s business technologies quicker and easier. JEEL will promote Google solutions to its existing 500+ corporate customers.
Google's Enterprise search products offer the same high quality search experience as people get with Google.com. Google's search technology, including Google Search Appliance and Google Mini, is deployed by over 10,000 businesses around the world.
Google's hosted Message Security and Compliance services, powered by Postini, provides over 14 million users with email free from spam and viruses.
This is the first partnership agreement between FVC and JEEL.
"JEEL and NTG group have a very strong customer base in Saudi Arabia and will help us to gain faster adoption in the enterprise sector in the Kingdom," said general manager for Saudi Arabia and Egypt at FVC Ahmed Yousuf. – TradeArabia News Service
