Labtec wins project in Sudan

Labtec, a subsidiary of M'Sharie, said it has signed an agreement with the University of Khartoum for the supply and installation of laboratory furniture and equipment for the university's 17 new science laboratories.

Labtec, which is the private equity arm of Dubai Investments, and a leading player in the manufacturing and commissioning of turnkey solutions in the laboratory furniture domain said it will implement the Labtec standard range Series 3 furniture and fume cupboards in the new laboratories.

The agreement was signed between Norbert Brauneis, general manager of Labtec, and Dr Taj Al Sir, head of Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Khartoum.

Under the terms of the agreement, Labtec will design, supply, install and commission the full range of furniture and equipment for the science laboratories – 15 in the main campus of University of Khartoum and two in the university's Shambat campus.
