Infiniti G35 declared 'Best value for money'

The Infiniti G35 luxury sedan outscored its luxury competitors, winning the Best Value for Money Luxury Model for 2008 by Automobile magazine, the monthly Pan Arab automotive publication widely read by car enthusiasts in the Middle East.

Automobile is a leading monthly motoring magazine first published in 1994 and is conceived to provide car enthusiasts with a comprehensive insight into the motor industry.

The magazine prides itself on its incisive editorial content which allows its readers to quickly learn about the best automotive products in the marketplace.

"Since the launch of the first generation G35 sedan in 2004, we've been confident that this model was destined for great success," said Abhijeet Pandit, general manager of Infiniti Business Unit in the Middle East.

"The Automobile magazine award is an additional acknowledgement we are extremely proud of and we are looking forward for more recognition not only for G Sedan but for other Infiniti models too," he added.

The second generation G35 sedan is instantly recognisable on the road with a sensuously styled exterior and underneath, an enhanced platform with power from the latest generation of the award-winning 3.5-litre VQ-series V6 engine.

Inside, Infiniti G35 Sedan combines modern warmth and traditional Japanese design with a unique 'Washi' finish, rearview monitor and a custom-made unique Bose audio system with an audiophile quality head unit, push start button, intelligent key, rear view camera, DVD-based navigation system and Bluetooth Hands Free Phone.

"G35 Sedan now is our largest selling sedan with sales expected this year to be around 2500 units in the region. The car’s design and performance personify the Infiniti brand promise, a unique combination of peace of mind, hospitality and driving pleasure," added Abhijeet.

The Infiniti G Sedan has registered a number of global successes, being placed on US Automobile magazine's 2007 All-Star list.

Car and Driver magazine in the US singled out the G Sedan's "world-class gearbox" (as the) "personification of precise engagement… a swell sequence to a first act that was very strong."
