Huawei wins industry recognition

Huawei Technologies Co, (Huawei) said that its NE5000E Cluster Core Router System received an InfoVision Award from the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) for its innovation and "Green Design".
The leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world has won InfoVision Awards for five consecutive years.
"The IEC's InfoVision Awards give tribute to the top broadband technologies in deployment today. We're pleased to recognise Huawei Technologies as the Winner for its NE5000E Cluster Core Router System in the Core Network Innovation and Advances category," said IEC president John Janowiak.
Huawei's NE5000E Cluster Core Router features the industry's first 10Tbps switch capacity and forwarding performance architecture, flexible expansion mode and designed to reduce power consumption while meeting the requirements of Next Generation Networks in terms of bandwidth performance, service quality and service provision capabilities.
This solution reduces operators' total cost of ownership (TCO) and satisfies the network integration requirements of users in the All-IP era.
