Trend Micro offers money-back deal

Dubai, October 8, 2008

Trend Micro, a global leader in Internet content security, has launched one of the industry’s most aggressive Service Level Agreements (SLA) for hosted email security.

The Service Level Agreement -- which applies to InterScan Messaging Hosted Security Standard and Advanced customers of all sizes -- provides money-back remedies subject to certain limitations, if the following service performance levels are not met:
• 100 percent service availability with downtime being measured in minutes, not hours
• No more than .0004 percent false positives
• 95 percent or better spam-blocking effectiveness
• No more than two minutes of email delivery latency
• Zero email-based virus infection
• Support responsiveness within specified timeframes based on the severity of the incident

“Small, medium and large enterprise customers all depend upon their email systems to work, to be protected and secure. Hours of email downtime are unacceptable – businesses can’t afford that in this age of fast-paced, real-time communication,” said Steve Quane, executive general manager of the SMB business unit at Trend Micro.

“Trend Micro is now providing this aggressive, money-back service level commitment because we understand how critical email is to our customers, and because we are fully confident in our hosted email security solution,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
