PRO Technology, a leading provider of communication, security and storage solutions, has announced that it bagged the 'Best Promising Enterprise for IT and Communication' award at the second annual 'Best Promising Enterprise Awards' recently held in Saudi Arabia.
Prince Mohammed Bin Fahed Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province, presented the prestigious honour to Abdullah Al Mutrif, managing partner of PRO Technology - Saudi Arabia, in recognition of the company's outstanding achievements in the Kingdom.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Abdullah Al Mutrif said: 'With Saudi Arabia accounting for 40 per cent of IT spending in the Middle East, we are continuously building our network and introducing new technologies to further boost our operations within this market, and consequently become the top communication, security and storage solutions provider in the Kingdom.
'This award reflects the success we have been witnessing in the Kingdom, and we would like to thank the KSA Chamber of Commerce, as well as H. H. Prince Mohammed Bin Fahed Al Saud for their unwavering support.
'The KSA market can continue to expect the delivery of the most technologically advanced products and solutions and the highest level of services and training programs from PRO TECHnology, as we strengthen our support for the Saudization program.'
PRO Technology entered the Saudi Arabian market in mid 2006, and has since grown by leveraging its growing network of partners and branches to provide comprehensive and diverse IT solutions in information storage, backup and digital archiving to multinationals, government organisations and medium and large business enterprises in the Kingdom.
Of recent, the company has partnered with global IT security company Symantec to conduct two high impact events in the Kingdom, which were aimed at showcasing its state-of-the-art data management and security solutions and their benefits to Saudi-based customers.
'As part of our commitment to the Saudi market, we will be conducting several training courses for Saudi graduates to encourage them to advance their knowledge in technology driven systems.
'In our aims to diversify and extend our reach to cover the entire Kingdom, we have identified the potential of cultivating young local talents by familiarising them with the latest communication and IT innovations, which will empower them as they take a more active role in the Kingdom's growth in the technology front. This award gives us further motivation to enhance our contribution to the maturation of Saudi Arabia as a leading technological destination not only in the region, but also across the globe,' said Jamal Maraqa, managing director, PRO Technology. - TradeArabia News Service
