Emirates Computers deploys next-gen Dell PC products

Emirates Computers, the leading system integrator in the Middle East region, has announced the successful deployment of client computing products including PCs, note books and servers at the Department of Finance of the Sharjah Central Government Entities.

The upgradation of the computing infrastructure has enhanced the productivity and expansion initiatives of the department significantly with better performing, power efficient professional machines from Dell.

The delivery and installation of products such as Dell Optiplex PCs, Latitude Laptops, and Poweredge servers was consistent with the exemplary track record of Emirates Computers.

The customer chose Dell computing products after a detailed study based on technical specifications and scalability benefits over other competitive offerings.

The customer was confident about Emirates Computers as a solution provider of choice and their service center in Jebel Ali was an added advantage.

Ahmed Al Jarwan, general manager of Sharjah Central Purchasing and Tender Management Department, said: "Next generation computing products from Dell met our requirements and all IT solutions. The department of purchasing has chosen robust business grade machines inclusive of the Optiplex 745 desktops, Latitude D820 notebooks and the Poweredge 2970 servers.

The Optiplex 745 series of desktops for instance feature the latest vPro technology is powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, giving IT the dual-core, 64-bit capable performance needed to run some of the latest compute-intensive applications and provide outstanding user responsiveness in multitasking environments-all in a power efficient design.

On the notebooks front, Dell Latitude D830 comes with the latest dual-core Intel processors with 64-bit support.

It is a high-performance solution for professionals who require desktop capabilities on the go, especially for those needing to run high-end graphics.
 
The highly versatile Dell powerEdge 2950 server with Intel Quad core dual processors provides the optimal balance of server features and size.

It gives businesses the ability to maximise server performance while keeping space and energy needs to a minimum.
