Dubai, October 27, 2007
Trapeze Networks, the award-winning global provider of Smart Mobile wireless solutions, has signed a partnership agreement with Gulf Gaihab International (GGI).
This new deal will see GGI become Trapeze's value-added distributor in Saudi Arabia. The deal, signed in the first week of October 2007, will further enhance Trapeze Networks' coverage of the Saudi market through GGI's broad customer base.
"Trapeze Networks considers Saudi a key market in our expansion program in the region. Our partnership with GGI will help us bolster our presence in the Kingdom and sustain the momentum we have gained in the Gulf market. GGI has extensive reach in Saudi’s large cities and remote areas, which will be crucial in helping Trapeze realize our expansion objectives," said regional manager, Trapeze Networks, Feras Zeidan.
Under the terms of the contract, GGI will offer Trapeze Networks products and solutions in Saudi through its extensive distribution network. Moreover, Trapeze Networks products and solutions will be deployed in all GGI site installations.
GGI brings experience and prestige to the partnership, having been in the business for nearly a decade and ranked as one of Saudi’s top 100 companies. Founded in 1998 as part of the AK Group, GGI has risen to become a leading provider of innovative wireless network solutions, such as personal broadband and corporate WLAN services that improve business communication and productivity.
“This is a great opportunity to capitalise on promising market conditions, as Saudi Arabia is currently witnessing some of the fastest growing internet penetration rates in the Middle East. This has translated to a large demand for wireless services; especially compounded by the KSA Government’s goal to make all networks offer wireless connectivity. As a result, we are very happy to partner with Trapeze at this opportune time and provide our customers with Trapezes’ superior offerings,” said business manager – IT and Communication, GGI - Hani Bitar.
Trapeze Networks has been embarking on an aggressive expansion programme in the Middle East as part of a strategy to further increase global market presence. In addition, Trapeze Networks already has established operations in Europe, Japan and the Asia-Pacific.
Trapeze Networks has been internationally recognised for its Smart Mobile technology, which has been a key factor in helping make wireless LAN a more attractive solution for enterprise network infrastructure.
