Al has launched a new series of Local Roaming Numbers (LRN) that enables visitors to Saudi Arabia to obtain a local prepaid mobile number.

This can be done once you are in the Al Jawal network range and without having to buy a new chip.

 Through this latest technology visitors will get a local number that works on their own mobile chip.

This service by Al Jawal enables users to make local and international phone calls at competitive rates using the best network coverage in Saudi Arabia, said an official spokesman.

The service also allows visitors to use their own numbers as well as their new local number simultaneously using the same mobile chip, onlywhen wanting to make a call from the local number they must add (*1) before dialing the required number.- TradeArabia News Service
