L&T Infotech plans gitex ‘open house’
Dubai, August 23, 2007
L&T Infotech, one of India’s fastest growing IT companies, is organising a unique free “open house” service during Gitex Technology Week.
Called “IT Value 4 U”, it is a complimentary consultative service provided by a team of experts offering advice to businesses on unleashing the potential of their IT investment.
“The success of any business depends on the speedy flow of information to gain a competitive edge in the market,” the company said.
The service will take the form of a panel of experts combining several decades of business experience from L&T Infotech’s parent company Larsen & Toubro Ltd.
L&T Infotech recently announced plans to open a regional office in Dubai to service the Arabian Gulf and Levant with a target of $100 million in business within three years.
L&T Infotech CEO and a board member of Larsen & Toubro, V.K. Magapu, said of the open house forum at Gitex:
“Most enterprises view IT investment as a necessary cost, since they are unable to extract leveraged value. When value is extracted from such investments, this ‘necessary cost’ becomes a welcome spend and this is the area where we bring to the table our expertise in connecting IT to business.”
The range of topics that can be discussed include: ERP, integration, business intelligence and data warehousing, shop floor to top floor, information security.
The panel will be available at L&T Infotech’s booth at Gitex (E7-20, Hall 8) on September 10 and 11. – TradeArabia News Service
