Linkdotnet is doubling its presence at Gitex 2007, which is celebrating 10 successive years at the region's leading IT exhibition.

Linkdotnet is partnering with Dubai Internet City (DIC), one of the world’s largest IT clusters, while Link Development, the company's software and services development subsidiary, will feature with the Egyptian government’s IT Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).

"Partnerships are key drivers in our business and Gitex is an integral component of our business development and marketing programmes. Therefore, we have decided to double-up at this year's exhibition, to enable us to showcase our latest solutions and technologies with two of our key Middle East partners, ITIDA – in the Egyptian pavilion and with DIC on their business partner's stand," said Linkdotnet CEO Karim Beshara.

Beshara said 2007 marks the 10th anniversary of Linkdotnet's establishment in the Gulf region.

"Gitex 2007 offers us an ideal opportunity to celebrate success of the last decade and look to the future. The exponential growth of the company is expected to continue in the coming years, in line with the next growth areas. These will include e-government as other Gulf countries are at different stages of maturity and will act more like the private sector,” said Link Development CEO Hanan Abdel Meguid.

“Delivery of services through multiple channels will also be a growth area while we also expect to see a trend towards more community based portals. Another 'one to watch' will be the convergence of software, services and devices.”

Linkdotnet and Link Development will be exhibiting at stand number 22 on the DIC stand, (Concourse 2) and on the ITIDA stand within the Egyptian pavilion (hall 2) at the Business Solutions component of Gitex 2007. – TradeArabia News Service
