Aptec, Sun Microsystems’ partner in the Middle East, has raised its product portfolio to cover the distribution of Sun’s volume products.

It includes the complete range of AMD and Intel servers, Identity Management, Desktop solutions, and entry level storage products, said the company in statement.

Using Gitex as its platform to leverage Sun solutions, Aptec and Sun will demonstrate hardware and software solutions including servers and workstations, SunRays Desktop Solutions, Secure Global Desktop and Identity Management systems.

Technical experts will be on hand to provide in-depth product knowledge and share know-how with channel partners and their customers. 

“Moving forward, the Sun team at Aptec is completely geared-up to take our partnership to the next level by providing training, pre-sales support, promotions, and by maintaining local stock of Sun’s AMD and Intel based servers, workstations, SunRay Desktop solutions and entry level storage products,” said Sun business unit manager at Aptec Ilyas Mohammed.
