Dubai, June 10, 2007

UAE teleocm operator du has launched its 'Visitor Mobile Line Pack', aimed at offering convenience, information and entertainment to all UAE visitors.

Aiming to make all visitor mobile line customers feel as special as its subscribers, du is also providing international roaming services in over 170 countries, said a spokesman.

The special pack is designed to provide a host of services including Pay by the Second, Me&Mine, MyWorld and Next Generation Mobile Services when visitors to the UAE opt for a du Visitor Line. Visitors will also have access to video calls, mobile TV and mobile broadband, which will ensure they stay connected while in the UAE.

The Visitor Mobile Line package comes with an exclusive travel kit that includes free tourist maps and a mini-guide that introduces them to the sights and sounds of the UAE. All this comes with a handy travel folder that visitors can use to carry their passports, tickets, home SIM cards, business and credit cards. The Visitor Mobile Line, with an affordable price of Dh 70, comes with a complimentary Dh20 voucher to let visitors immediately enjoy all the benefits du provides, said the spokesman.

The Visitor Mobile Line has a validity of 90 days and can be easily renewed. If the subscribers decide to settle in the UAE, they can simply migrate to either Pay as you Go or Monthly Plan packages and keep the same number.

Osman Sultan, chief executive officer, du, said: “Our aim is to make guests feel at home while visiting the UAE. We understand the kind of service visitors expect from their mobile lines and have tried to incorporate a balanced mix of information and entertainment to cater to their needs.”-TradeArabia News Service
