Batelco has announced a new commercial GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) roaming agreement with a major international telecom player in Pakistan.

The new agreement will allow Batelco’s postpaid mobile customers who have GPRS / MMS enabled handsets to exchange pictures and video clips with their families and friends and browse the internet directly from their mobiles while roaming in Pakistan.

“We are delighted to provide our customers visiting Pakistan with this addition to our comprehensive roaming services,” said Batelco Corporate Affairs general manager Ahmed Al Janahi.
