Alba joins forces with Array Innovation to rev up 4IR transformation

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the world’s largest aluminium smelter on one site, has announced a strategic partnership agreement with Array Innovation, a Bahrain-based leader in AI and cloud-native digital solutions.
Formalised during the 2nd edition of the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum, this collaboration aims to accelerate Alba's Industry 4.0 digitalisation journey through advanced AI, data analytics, and automation solutions.
Under this deal, Array Innovation will deploy tailored AI, machine learning, and data analytics solutions to optimise Alba's operations and boost efficiencies across its manufacturing processes.
These efforts will support Alba's Industry 4.0 transformation, establishing new standards for production, safety, and sustainability in the aluminium industry, it stated.
Alba's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Khalid Al Rumaihi, said: "Our strategic collaboration with Array marks a significant step towards positioning Alba as a technology-driven industry leader."
"This partnership will not only accelerate our Industry 4.0 journey, driving operational excellence and cost reduction but also align with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 by investing in local talent.
