Reveal Industries Group, a leading investment and industrial group, is hosting a number of international industry experts to train Egyptian technicians in the first factory in Egypt to manufacture school bags.

The strategic plan seeks to provide high-quality products that suit local user requirements and competitive specifications that achieve the group's vision in the global, regional and export expansion plans for a number of countries, said a statement from the company.

This step coincides with the announcement of the launch of the new Dea brand of school bags to be launched to meet the needs of students during the next academic year 2018-2019, it said.

The current production rate of the factory is about 100,000 bags that will reduce the importation and strengthen the local industry, it added.

Reveal factory, one of the first major factories in Egypt specialised in the manufacture of school bags, operates 8 lines of production with a labour force of 400 specialists. It is planned to increase production lines to 15 to meet the needs of the market and increase the production to 120,000 large bags.

Diaa Hassan, founder and president of the plant, said: “We have been working in full swing for 18 months to reach this important step that will maximise the competitive advantages of the products.”
