Ebrahim K Kanoo, the sole distributor of Goodride tyres in Bahrain, was recently honoured with the “Goodride Appreciation Award” for achieving the highest market share in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region.

Regional distributors of Goodride tyres - Al Rahala International and Trading Co’s general manager Liu Yi, and sales manager Wang Kai presented the award to Ebrahim K Kanoo’s director of operations, Ebrahim Kanoo, at the company’s headquarters in Manama.

Also present at the event were Ebrahim K Kanoo’s director of corporate services Talal Kanoo; chief operations officer Stefan Moench; senior manager of tyre division Ahmed Saeed

On the award, Ebrahim Kanoo said: “This is a significant achievement for Bahrain and for our company. Having achieved the highest market share in the Mena region shows our dedication to the Goodride brand and the effectiveness of our partner dealers.”

Saeed said: “We have followed strategic plans to attain this remarkable achievement and are pleased to have successfully exceeded our sales targets.”

“It is remarkable that a small market like Bahrain has out done much larger markets in the Mena region,” he added.

Goodride is a Chinese company that started manufacturing high-quality tyres in 1958. It is considered to be China’s Number 1 tyre manufacturer, and was ranked number 10 out of 75 global tyre manufacturers in 2017. – TradeArabia News Service
