Saudi International Petrochemical Co (Sipchem) has revealed that its Technology and Innovation Center (Manar) has signed a technical services agreement with Everspring Middle East for the provision of testing and analytical services.

Everspring Middle East is a subsidiary of Everspring Chemical Co Ltd, headquartered in Taiwan, one of the largest global producers of antioxidants and stabilisers for the polymers and coatings industries.

The scope of the services agreement will primarily focus on evaluating the performances of various additive solutions using unique capabilities and expertise available from Manar, said a statement.

Samir Al Jishi, general manager of Manar, noted that the implementation of this services agreement opens the door to many more opportunities to collaborate and further enhance the ability of Manar to expand its product and application development programmes, it said.

Manar was inaugurated in April 2015. It was established to support the growth strategy of the company and support the economic vison of the kingdom, which promotes industrial and commercial diversification through product and application development benefiting the local plastics downstream Industry. – TradeArabia News Service
