Equate celebrates achievements of staff children

Kuwait-based Equate Petrochemical Company, a global producer of petrochemicals, recently held a ceremony to honour 200 of its employees’ children, who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements at their respective schools.
The ceremony highlights Equate’s effort to strengthen engagement with its employees’ and their families, said a statement.
While congratulating the students, Dr Ramesh Ramachandran, president and CEO, Equate, said: “Our company places high importance on education as a key pillar to achieving sustainability.”
“The younger generations are the ones who will take on the reigns of what we build today,” he said.
“Therefore, it is essential for us to encourage them to seek knowledge and arm them with the capabilities that will enable them to lead, innovate and sustain our world tomorrow,” he added.
Ramachandran continued: “We also extend gratitude to our employees for providing a better future for the younger generations and making a difference in our society in their own way.”
“We look forward to seeing their children excel in their future professions and we hope to inspire them year after year to continue in their endeavours to success,” he concluded.
Since 2012, Equate continues honouring the achievements of its employees’ children starting from grades 1 through 12 each year, which is in appreciation of their commitment to excel and succeed in their academic studies, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
