Wetex to highlight latest environmental, green trends
DUBAI, August 14, 2017
The Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition (Wetex) 2017, being held in Dubai in October, will highlight the latest environmental solutions and green technologies.
A large number of public and private institutions that provide environmental solutions and green technologies are expected to take part in the event, said Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), the organiser of the event.
The exhibition will take place from October 23 to 25, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The exhibition will focus on promoting innovative green solutions and technologies in the areas of water, clean and renewable energy, environment, oil and gas, and environmental sustainability, said a Wam news agency report.
Wetex is held under the directives of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of Dewa.
The exhibition will coincide with the second Dubai Solar Show, under the umbrella of the fourth "Green Week".
