SR Technics signs services agreement with Ukraine carrier

SR Technics, a world leading MRO service provider, has signed a long-term integrated component services agreement with Ukraine`s leading carrier, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA).
UIA is a privately owned carrier founded in 1992. The airline connects Ukraine with 80+ capitals and key cities of Europe, Asia, America, the Middle East, and CIS countries providing connections with its international partners’ flights to over 3,000 other destinations worldwide.
UIA operates over 1,000 scheduled flights per week. The base airport for UIA is Kiev Boryspil (KBP).
The new contract covers the carrier’s growing fleet of B737NG, providing component services, pool access, and a main base kit to ensure optimal support of the airline’s operations, said a statement from the company.
When selecting a new supplier for these critical services, UIA prioritised SR Technics’ expertise and high-quality services. The two teams established strong professional relationships right from the start of the bidding process, it said.
