UAE, January 12, 2017
UAE-based Spatial Composite Solutions, a specialist provider of world class crew training solutions for the civil aviation and aerospace industries, recently completed the successful installation of an A321 door trainer for Spirit.
The device comprises L1, L3 and over-wing exits and provides full simulation of multiple malfunctions on each door, all controllable from fixed and mobile instructors’ operating stations, said a statement from the company.
This device represents the third device Spatial has delivered to Spirit and was the third device Spatial installed in the USA in 2016, it said.
Henry Robertson, managing director, Spatial, said: “It is always an honour to deliver a device representing new innovations to our product line and even more so when delivering the device to a repeat customer.”
“We are grateful for the relationship we have built with Spirit and look forward to continuing to serve them alongside our other North American customers in the future,” he said.
Ken O Richards, ground training manager, Spirit, said: “Since the inception of our partnership with Spatial and the deploying of three door trainer devices, Spatial have provided first rate technical support and outstanding after sales customer service.”
“Due to the versatile/custom design capability of the devices, we are able to provide a greater range of real world training scenarios to our crew,” he said.
“Spatial’s operation is product and customer centric and they continue to work hard towards raising the bar in these areas,” he concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
