Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) of Sharjah, UAE, has announced that its chief financial officer (CFO) TV Ramesh was recently honoured with the ‘Revolutionary CFO of the Year – Public Sector’ at the recent Mena CFO Award 2016.

The Mena CFO Awards ceremony was staged at the end of the two-day CFO Strategies Forum with a think tank of experts from across the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region recently at the Sofitel, The Palm in Dubai, said a statement from HFZA.

Ramesh received the award from Sophie Le Ray, CEO of Naseba Business Information Company, the organiser of the event, it said.

The awards recognise the important contribution of CFOs in delivering results and achieving success for their organisations, it added.

Ramesh said: "I am deeply honoured to receive this recognition for the second time.”
