Alba appoints new finance manager
DUBAI, September 25, 2016
Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, has appointed Ahmed A Qader Ishaq, a Bahraini national, as the manager for financial accounting and controlling.
This appointment is in line with the company’s belief of promoting from within and cultivating the next generation of leaders.
Commenting on Ishaq’s appointment, Alba's chief executive officer Tim Murray said: "At Alba, we firmly believe in developing and promoting employees from within the company. Ahmed has demonstrated strong leadership in executing various projects successfully. His commitment and contribution towards the financing requirements of Line 6 Expansion Project is noteworthy.
"I am confident that as the manager for financial accounting and controlling, Ahmed will continue with the same dedication and raise the department's profile.”
Ishaq is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and joined Alba in July 2010 as the head of internal audit bringing with him vast experience in finance and related fields. Currently, he is enrolled in MBA at ESSEC through the French Arabian Business School, Bahrain. - TradeArabia News Service
