Saudi Arabian Mining Co (Ma'aden) said on Tuesday that construction of an ammonia plant at a subsidiary had been completed and trial operations had started.

Ma'aden Waad Al Shamal Phosphate Company's ammonia plant will have an annual production capacity of 1.1 million tonnes, Ma'aden said in a bourse statement.

The financial impact on the company's earnings will be recognised once the plant begins commercial production, Ma'aden added without elaborating. - Reuters
