Some of the biggest names in the global aluminium sector will showcase their products, services and technologies at the upcoming Arab International Aluminium Conference (Arabal) in Dubai, UAE.
The 20th edition of the event is scheduled to take place November 22 to 24 at Madinat Jumeirah.]
A substantial number of specialist companies across the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors of the aluminium industry have already booked space in the exhibition area, a statement said.
Items on display will include aluminium products for special applications, surface treatment, light-metal trade and recycling, plant, machinery and accessories and equipment for aluminium extraction processing and refining, services, consultancy, information, education and others.
Arabal is the only event of its kind in the region to unite all the leading primary aluminium manufacturers in the GCC, enabling industry leaders to network, conduct business, discuss global challenges and identify suitable solutions.
Hosted by Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) for the sixth time, this year’s exhibition has also attracted a number of key sponsors – notably General Electric as Gold sponsor. Other confirmed names include ABB, Mecfor, Rockwell Automation, STS, and Weir Minerals.
The main attraction remains the two-day Arabal conference, which this year has adopted the theme “Global Challenges – Seeking Solutions”, the statement said.
The event, which is expected to draw delegates from over 20 countries, will provide extensive opportunities for delegates to learn more about the immense growth opportunities for the regional and global aluminium industry.
Plant tours of EGA’s core operating assets - Dubai Aluminium and Emirates Aluminium – are also on offer. – TradeArabia News Service
