The range of frozen fruit pulps

A’Saffa Foods unveils range of frozen fruit pulps

MUSCAT, May 22, 2016

Oman-based A’Saffa Foods, a leading food producer, has unveiled a wide range of frozen fruit pulps under its ‘Khayrat’ brand that can be used in an extensive range of food and beverage applications.

Fruits used in the Khayrat range are cultivated and harvested in fruit orchards in India, offering the very best for families across the sultanate, said a statement from the company.

Khayrat’s alphonso mango, totapuri mango, guava, strawberry, pomegranate and orange pulps are processed and packaged using best quality fruits to retain natural sweetness, aroma and colour in the fruit, it said.

The name Khayrat means ‘the finest of crops’ or the ‘best quality ingredients’ and is what the company strives to provide its customers in all its products, it added.

Sidhartha Lenka, head of marketing and sales, A’Saffa Foods, said: “The technology used in preparing all frozen pulps under the Khayrat range allows the fruit to hydrate, but still retain its particulate nature through processing conditions that ensures the fruit’s pulp texture is retained.”

“The pulps thus have the same flavour intensity, viscosity and visual appeal found in natural pulp; and can be served as they are as juices, or used as a substitute, or to add further pulpiness to cakes, desserts, chutneys and sauces,” he said.

“Over the past decade families across Oman have trusted us to bring them an exciting range of natural, healthy, pure and tasty products, and we are delighted to serve them with the frozen fruit pulps from our Khayrat range,” he added.

“The frozen fruit pulps add to our already extensive line of natural grown foods, providing us with yet another unique food option that offers a healthy ingredient to our customers,” he concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
