Qatar, Bulgaria sign MoU for cooperation in ports sector

Senior officials from Qatar and Bulgaria recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for bilateral cooperation in the field of ports, said a report.
The MoU was signed at the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications by Captain Abdulla Al Khanji, CEO, Qatar Ports Management Company and Anguel Zabourtov, director general, the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company, added the Peninsula Qatar report.
Additionally, Qatar’s Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti met with Bulgarian Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Ivaylo Moskovski in Sofia and discussed issues of mutual interests between the two countries, and were present at the signing of the agreement.
The meeting centred on topics of common interest between the two friendly countries in the fields of transport and communications and ways of enhancing them.
The two officials also stressed the importance of expertise exchange in the fields of civil aviation, information technology, e-government and cybersecurity, added the report.
