ABU DHABI, March 14, 2016

Airbus Defence and Space, a key player in the cyber security market in Europe, will present cutting-edge cyber security products and services at the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR) 2016, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The event will kick off tomorrow (March 15) and will run till March 17, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec).

The company’s latest products and services have been developed to help governments and sensitive industry deal with the increasingly complex and unpredictable nature of cyber attacks.

Advanced Cyber security capabilities including the innovative Cyber Security Centre services will be an important part of the Airbus Defence and Space offering this year.

Cyber Security Centre gathers tools and expertise to monitor, detect, investigate and counter cyber attacks. Thanks to unique threat intelligence capability, these services include early detection of attacks, investigation, remediation and 24/7 anticipation of advanced attacks.

This solution named Keelback Net combines signature tracking and the detection of behaviour that reveals activities of attackers. Innovation consists of a real-time identification and characterisation of cyber threats with the help of a continuously updated database as well as advanced detection of attacks through combination of capabilities working on network and clients of customers’ infrastructure.

Guy Meguer, general manager of CyberSecurity, Airbus Defence and Space – Middle East, said: “Keelback Net has recently been selected by the international French-speaking television channel TV5Monde to combat APT - Advanced Persistent Threats in the wake of the cyber attack on the television network on the 8th of April last year.”

“This sensor, which has been implemented by Airbus Defence and Space in record time, is now part of the global TV5Monde information system’s security plan. Keelback Net has also been selected by countries in the Middle East,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
