DUBAI, March 1, 2016
Jacky’s Business Solutions, an end-to-end solutions provider for major corporations in the region, unveiled the world’s first carbon fibre 3D printer in the Middle East at the recently held 3rd Arabiamold, in Sharjah, UAE.
Arabiamold is a leading international trade fair for moldmaking and tooling, design and application development.
The exhibition served as a launch-pad for MarkForged’s Mark One 3D printer, which is ideally suited for engineering applications.
Jacky’s Business Solutions, the event’s Gold sponsor, has partnered with MarkForged as its authorised distributor of Mark One 3D printers across the region, said a statement from the company.
At Arabiamold, Jacky’s Business Solutions also displayed MakerBot’s range of 3D printers namely the Replicator, Replicator Z18 and Replicator Mini, along with BigRep One, one of the world’s largest 3D printers.
Ashish Panjabi, chief operating officer (COO), Jacky’s Business Solutions, said: “While 3D printing has grown tremendously over the years, the actual output has been limited to plastic parts with no strength properties.”
“MarkForged’s technology allowed to 3D print actual working prototypes with higher strength and improved functionality using Kevlar, carbon fibre, nylon and fibreglass among others,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
