Oman-based Ithraa, a leading inward investment export development agency, is participating at the ongoing Kuwait International Trade Fair, a leading consumer-focused exhibition, in Kuwait.

The event being held on the Kuwait International Fairground, will run till February 27 and receive exhibitors from across the Middle East and North Africa (Mena).

Nasima Al Balushi, director general of export development, Ithraa, said: “In line with Ithraa’s mandate to boost Omani non-oil exports and help diversify the economy, we are constantly looking to create new export openings for local exporters.”

“The fair gives us a wonderful opportunity to meet buyers and network with potential customers. We are confident it is going to be a highly successful show,” she said.

“Growth remains a top priority. Encouraging local firms to export more to developed as well as emerging economies is key. Indeed, we work to help Omani exporters stay ahead of the competition in sectors where we have a clear advantage.
