Expo Centre Sharjah to host multi-industry trade event

SHARJAH, February 17, 2016

Three key trade events for the region’s plastics, mold-making, printing and packaging industries will be held at the Expo Centre Sharjah, UAE, next week.

The upcoming multi-industry trade event will concurrently host the 3rd Plastivision Arabia, 3rd Arabia Mold and the 2nd Print Pack Arabia from February 22 to 25.

The event will offer the perfect platform to assess market dynamics and align product and procuring strategies to maintain their growth, said a statement.

While Plastivision Arabia and Arabia Mold will feature new machinery, technologies, materials, and insights into improving production and personnel efficiencies, Print Pack Arabia will showcase some of the latest printing and packaging technology, materials and machinery that offer resilience, hygiene, protection, and above all environmental friendliness and value for money, it said.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah, said: “Low oil prices or not, establishments need to continually watch out for changes that may affect their markets and their businesses and have to look for ways to improve performance, production, efficiency and cost reduction.”

“The presence of more than 250 leading manufacturers and dealers from across the world, and the convergence of regional executives and decision-makers will offer visitors a great opportunity to know what is happening in the market and equip themselves accordingly. There is no other event where they can find such a wide spectrum of machinery and equipment on display and live demonstration at the same time and at same place,” he added.

Organised in association with the All India Plastics Manufacturers Association (AIPMA), Plastivision Arabia will feature pavilions from Taiwan, India and China, besides special focus areas such as ‘Plastiworld - The Finished Goods Pavilion’ displaying finished plastics goods, and ‘Filling & Packaging’ showcasing processing, filling and packaging equipment and services.

Regional plastics processors can also take advantage of the Job Fair organised by AIPMA to pick up qualified and experienced candidates from India, said the statement.

Jointly held with DEMAT, Arabia Mold will be a one of its kind event for the manufacturing sector in Middle East, displaying latest technologies in mold making, tool making and prototyping, it added.

It will have a special focus on 3D printers and scanners, with Gold Sponsor Jacky’s Business Solutions bringing together a full range of 3D printers from leading manufacturers such as MakerBot, Mcor, Stratasys, BigRep and Concept Laser.

Expo Centre Sharjah has tied up with the Indian Printing, Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers' Association (IPAMA) to organise 2nd Print Pack Arabia, which will not only showcase innovative technology and materials but also see impressive participation of Indian makers of machinery, equipment and allied products.

Print Pack Arabia will witness the launch of a new vertical -- Arab Paper 2016, which will focus on paper, board, tissue, converting and corrugated industry, besides the introduction of a special section on Corrugation Machinery.

Adding tremendous value to the exhibition will be live demonstrations that will help visitors experience latest technology and materials first hand, helping them choose the right technology and machinery that suits their requirements, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
