Natpet's upgraded Teldene B20ML with nucleating
agent Hyperform HPN-20E

Natpet unveils new products at Turkish expo

ISTANBUL, December 8, 2015

Saudi Arabia-based National Petrochemical Industrial Company (Natpet) a leading producer of polypropylene, showcased its latest products and innovations at the Plasteurasia 2015, which was held recently in Istanbul, Turkey.

Natpet unveiled its latest enhanced polypropylene (PP) impact copolymer grade Teldene B20ML for injection molding applications at the event, said the company in a statement.

The B20ML has been upgraded in performance and processability by replacing NaBz with Milliken’s unique nucleating agent Hyperform HPN-20E. In order to achieve better shrinkage control and improved stiffness without affecting the grade’s impact performance Hyperform HPN-20E has been evaluated as a better choice.

Natpet pointed out that the improved Teldene B20ML provides converters with better stiffness/impact balance in both machine direction (MD) and transverse direction (TD). The isotropic shrinkage control facilitates a dimensional stability to eliminate warpage.

This, together with the improved thermal properties achieved with Hyperform HPN-20E, also provides down gauging advantage to the converters with higher profit, it added.

Neaz Ahmed, the assistant manager of product application, said: “We are pleased to offer a more effective and sustainable PP reactor grade to the market, with great potential to add value in new application segments.” – TradeArabia News Service
