Italian delegates and HFZA officials at the free zone
Italian chartered accountants visits HFZA

A delegation of Italian chartered accountants recently visited UAE-based Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA), and shared their insights and explored possibilities of mutual cooperation in various fields in the free zone.
The delegation consisted of over 130 chartered accountants from the Italian National Council of Chartered Accounts, said a statement.
“Our business mission is pleased to visit HFZA and to explore the opportunities and facilities available in the free zone as we wish to expand our reach to the Middle East market,” said Filippo Invitti, who led the delegation.
On the occasion, Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, director of HFZA and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (Saif Zone) stressed on the growing bilateral trade between the UAE and Italy, added the statement.
Al Mazrouei said: “With the growing bilateral trade between the two countries and the encouraging response we received from the delegation and the other exhibitions we participated in Italy, we hope to see an increase in the number of Italian companies in HFZA in the coming months.”
Al Mazrouei also pointed out that the Italian Industry and Commerce Office in the UAE was first set up in Sharjah in 1999.
Ali Saeed Al Jarwan, deputy commercial director who explained the various features of HFZA and the current trends to the delegation, said: “It was a good chance to discuss potential business tie-ups with the team and to get an insight into the best-practice experiences and new areas of innovation.”
Presently, HFZA has over 6,500 companies functioning in the free zone, of which 56 are Italian, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
