The National Business Centre (NBC) will organise a series of events with the objective of providing a platform for participants to gain insights from experienced entrepreneurs in line with the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), next week.
The GEW Oman, which comes in line with the sultanate’s celebrations of its 45th National Day, will focus on the concept of ‘SMEs beyond borders’, said a statement.
GEW Oman will be inaugurated next Sunday (November 12) by Khalifa bin Said Al Abri, CEO of the Public Authority for SMEs Development, and will run until November 15.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn from successful and experienced entrepreneurs on the key elements of an environment that encourages entrepreneurial growth and is conducive to innovation, it said.
They will also be able to meet and network with a broad array of delegates who can help aspiring and potential entrepreneurs take the next step in starting and growing firms, it added.
