Topaz Energy and Marine (Topaz), a leading international offshore support vessel company, has been recognised with an award at the 2015 Seatrade Maritime Awards.

Topaz was selected as the winner for ‘The Safety and Quality Award’, said a statement from the company.

The award recognises the company’s uncompromising focus on safety and reputation among clients for maintaining a consistently strong safety performance over its 40-year history, it added.

Topaz constantly invests in initiatives to further deepen awareness of safe operating procedures among its employees. 2015 saw the third year of Topaz’s annual “Safey Culture Survey” in addition to the launch of Topaz’s “Mobile Safety Observation” application, together with new training initiatives, it said.
