The Arabian Shipbuilding and Repair Yard (Asry) has marked the launch of the construction of a Bahrain Coast Guard (BCG) landing craft with the steel cutting ceremony, a report said.

Officers from BCG and Asry attended the event which marked the start of the project, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

BCG was represented by Lt Col Abdul Aziz Al Buainain and Lt Col Jahangir Sarwar, while new construction and engineering senior manager Sauvir Sarkar led the team from Asry.
