Grandweld signs new ship building contracts

DUBAI, August 11, 2015

Dubai-headquartered Grandweld Shipyards, a fully integrated shipyard providing shipbuilding, ship repair and engineering solutions, has signed four new contracts to design, build and deliver four 42 m crew boats for Global Marine.

The contract was signed between Jamal Abki, Grandweld general manager, and Shahram Nazemi, Global Marine managing director.

The vessel features a crew seating capacity of 69 persons, 104-sq-m loading area for over 85 tonnes of deck cargo, and achieves a speed in excess of 25 knots. The vessel will be additionally equipped with high end navigational equipment according to the customer requirements.

This is a repeat order from Global Marine to Grandweld for these classes of vessels. – TradeArabia News Service
