Kale Logistics Solutions, a leading global IT provider to the logistics, airports and transportation industry, said it has successfully helped two large European carriers achieve 100 per cent electronic data interchange (EDI) through its community platforms - Uplift and Gmax.

Uplift (Cargo Community System) and Gmax (Airport Cargo Community System) are both newly introduced community platforms in India which incorporate features that benefits all parties involved in the movement of air cargo, said a statement from Kale Logistics.

The two online platforms enable digital information transmission between carrier, exporter/importer (forwarder), airport cargo ground handler, customs, chambers of commerce, transporters and government authorities, it added.

Gmax and Uplift provide solutions to the problem of increasing EDI penetration worldwide, and are currently helping forwarders and carriers in India to exchange electronic Air Way Bills (e-AWB) successfully.

The two platforms have contributed in launching India in to the top 10 e-AWB countries in the world, said the statement.
