The Saar Group of Companies is a leading Bahraini company that has been involved in fabrication, casting, moulding, surface preparation and coatings for the past 30 years.
It is owned by two Bahraini brothers Redha J Al Mandeel and Jawad J Al Mandeel and has two factories – one in the Ma’ameer industrial area over an area of 3,500 sq m and another in the South Alba Industrial Area, Askar, over 7,500 sq m.
The group’s services offered include aluminium, steel and industrial fabrication, casting (aluminium and cast iron), scrap recycling, industrial foundry jobs, blasting (surface preparation) and painting.
Its scope of work in aluminium fabrication include energy-rated aluminium, double glazed, architectural, commercial, decorative, and sliding windows and doors. It also fabricates windows of various types (double-hung, awnings, casements and louvres), in addition to French doors, exterior cladding, kitchen cupboards, curtain walls and skylights.
In steel fabrication, it undertakes MS (mild steel) fabrication, wrought iron, SS (stainless steel) fabrication, cast aluminium and cast iron fabriation.
Its scope of works in industrial fabrication includes paint mixing SS tanks, truss works, sheet works, shed fabrication, brackets, frames, fences, raiser coil fencing, structures, lamp poles, tanks, platforms, exhaust hoods and industrial ventilation, camera towers, and roof coverings.
The Saar Group, which is showcasing its services at the ongoing gulfInteriors in Bahrain, also casts aluminium arrows, decorative aluminium designs, aluminium spears and drapery finials, iron studs, iron post tops and iron stars. Among industrial foundry jobs, it casts iron manhole covers, iron gratings, iron rods, iron pulleys, bushes, iron wheels, rollers, iron moulds, aluminium anodes and cathodes, and zinc anodes.
For industrial coatings and paintings, it undertakes epoxy, marine, fire-proof, anti-corrosion, chemical, fuel and water tank coatings; three-coat painting; and airless and normal painting. Furthermore, it also recycles all kinds of scrap metal, in addition to blasting (surface preparation) and metal painting.
Some of the major projects its aluminium division has undertaken in the last few years include work for Al Dahya Construction (various buildings in Juffair and Seef); Habib Ali Awachi (fishing harbours at Sitra, Muharraq and Budaiya); Chapo (Electricity and Water Authority – EWA – substations); Al Kooheji Electrical (The Ritz-Carlton hotel, Jida Island, Zallaq and Safriya Palace); R P Construction (Al Khulood School in Isa Town, Budaiya Jawad Superfare, Muharraq Club, and a villa in Adliya); Haikal Construction (luxury villas in Saar, Juffair and Sanad); and Ahmed Mansoor Al Ali (52 villas in Jenusan). - TradeArabia News Service
