DuPont, a leading science company, showcased its MECS DynaWave technology for Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU) applications, at the recent Sour Oil and Gas Advanced Technology 2015 (Sogat) exhibition in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

DynaWave technology is the only industrial solution able to comply with SO2 emission regulations under any upstream circumstances of Sulphur Recovery Units (SRU) and/or Tail Gas Treatment Units (TGTU), a statement said.

Innovative technology by DuPont such as the DynaWave cleaning solutions offer an established approach for hot gas quenching, acid gas absorption and particulate removal – all in one vessel.
