Over 400 industrial and mining projects....to create 15,000 jobs

$2.5bn worth development projects go on stream in Iran

TEHRAN, February 2, 2015

About $2.5 billion worth of development projects are being inaugurated in Iran at the ongoing Ten-Day Dawn Celebrations, which marks the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, according to a report.

More than 400 industrial and mining projects, valued at over $1.4 billion will come on stream in the country, creating jobs for more than 15,000 persons, said the Tehran Times report.

It will include eight new power generation units at a cost of about $61 million and also four combined cycle power plants, it said.
