Sugar refineries around the world are feeling the pressure of a subdued whites-over-raws sugar premium, Jamal Al Ghurair, managing director of Dubai's Al Khaleej Refinery said on Sunday.

"World sugar refineries cannot sustain a $60 white-over-raw premium," Ghurair told the Platts Kingsman Dubai Sugar Conference.
