RWI enters deal with Bahwan Engineering

DUBAI, October 19, 2014

Rubber World Industries (RWI), a leading manufacturer of closed-cell rubber insulation 'Gulf-O-Flex' in the Gulf and South East Asia, has signed an agreement with Oman's Bahwan Engineering Company (BEC) to use RWI's products in its projects.

BEC is a leading engineering construction company executing integrated multi-disciplinary construction projects and facilities management projects in Oman and the UAE.

RWI, part of the Shaikhani Group of Companies, will be leveraging its portfolio of products across $1.5 million worth of current and future BEC projects in the UAE and the rest of the Middle East region.

Oman is currently witnessing a large influx of projects wherein RWI’s ‘Gulf-O-Flex’ line can be used to address the demand for elastomeric rubber insulated building materials, a statement said.

“This new landmark agreement with BEC further reinforces our reputation as a leading manufacturer of world-class rubber-based building materials,” said Rizwan Shaikhani, managing Director, RWI.

The agreement falls in line with RWI's strategic plans to develop effective marketing alliances with industry leaders, play a part in the move to promote green buildings and adhere to set green building codes and promote ‘Gulf-O-Flex’ products across the GCC and Middle East region, he said. - TradeArabia News Service
